Coventry is England’s 9th largest city and 12th largest city in the whole of the UK and is known for its cathedral. In November 1940, both Coventry and its cathedral were destroyed in the Blitz. The cathedral ruins were left standing as a poignant memorial of that devastating time and have become one of the most breathtaking features of the city.
With a rich medieval heritage and a diverse, creative community, this eclectic city is a acclaimed cultural treasure trove. It is little surprise then that Coventry won the title of ‘UK City of Culture 2021’ in 2017.
This historic yet innovative city is never short of something new to discover
