Stephen Avila

Stephen qualified as a solicitor in 2002 after completing his LLB in law and a master’s degree in commercial law.  In his early legal career, Stephen predominantly worked for startup and scale-up businesses and their founders. As a result of working with these clients, Stephen identified the need for cost-effective legal resources and making them available to businesses and individuals alike.

Stephen co-founded Legalo Ltd with David Cammack in 2015. Stephen and David had worked in legal practice for years before this. Both held positions in a leading regional law firm.

Stephen is a practising solicitor whose practice areas focus on commercial, corporate, intellectual property and employment law. Within these legal sectors, Stephen has spent over two decades working closely with startup and growth companies and their founders.
