Grampian was a former administrative area of Scotland which is now divided in to three separate councils: Moray; Aberdeenshire; and the City of Aberdeen. Whilst Aberdeen is the dominant city, with a focus on the oil industry and maritime life, there is so much more to the Grampian region.
Within the Grampian area you will find the majestic Cairngorms, wonderful for hikes in the summer and great for skiing and snowboarding in winter. It’s in Grampian you’ll have your breath taking away at Dunnottar Castle or watching Moray Firth’s famous dolphins playing in the wake of passing boats. This is also the region of exceptional whisky and cashmere, as well as Balmoral.
