Fife, wedged between the Firth of Tay and the Firth of Forth has so much to offer. To outsiders, it is possibly best known for the university city of St Andrew’s and its historic golfing culture (there are 50 courses to choose from here alone!). However, it is also home to the larger urban areas of Kirkcaldy and Dunfermline.
Fife is full to the brim with galleries, palaces, castle and museums – each one very distinct. It’s also not short of stunning landscape and wildlife opportunities, particularly along the coast.
Fife is also a county where you can sample the best whisky, craft beers and gin.
