Londonderry is of course home to ‘Derry’ – a vibrant city bustling with culture and events. Whilst the county undoubtedly has a complex history, it’s a county rich with things to see and do.
For something memorable, take in the cliff-top air at the 1785 Mussenden Temple where you can see tremendous views. Within Derry itself you can walk the one mile route around the city walls – these are the only fully intact walls in Ireland. Outside of Derry you can head down the coast to the spectacular beaches with pristine golden sand. Apparently Londonderry is also the place to be for Halloween, so don’t miss out.
