Clwyd in North Wales is absolutely spoilt with natural wonder. The Vale of Clwyd itself, looked over by the market town of Denbigh, is enough to take your breath away.
However, this is also a region peppered with history and as such this is reflected in the castles of the area. Denbigh itself has more listed buildings than any other Welsh town.
Pub life is very much part of the culture here, and you’ll stumble on many. Travelling from one to another along winding country lanes, discovering everything from art galleries to ancient churches, means Clwyd is definitely worth a visit.
