Charity Giving

At Legalo, we take our corporate social responsibility seriously and, as part of that, we want to give something back to society. That is why we have pledged to give at least 3% of our net profit (before tax) to charities.

Our chosen charities

The charities we have chosen for the time being are ones that are all special to our founders, one chosen by each. They are:

1. Business LaunchPad (registered charity number: 299599)

Chosen by Stephen, Business LaunchPad is very much in keeping with the goals and ethos of Legalo, of helping smaller businesses have access to the resources they need in order to develop and grow to reach their full potential. 2. Multiple Sclerosis Society (registered charity number: 1139257)

Chosen by Hermione, the MS Society funds and promotes research into care and support for people affected by MS, the causes of MS, and the development of effective treatments. They provide support to people affected by MS, and seek to raise awareness, understanding, and improve care and support for all people living with MS. 3. Mercy Ships – U.K. Limited (registered charity number: 1053055)

Chosen by David, Mercy Ships helps provide ocean-going ships as hospitals, to bring free medical and dental treatment to the poorest countries in the world, operating around the coast of Africa and Madagascar. Mercy Ships’ programmes are staffed by volunteers, ranging from medical staff to engineers, cooks and other support staff.
